Purpose of processing
The personal data you provide will be processed by Nomad Hub Greece to manage your event registration, communicate important event updates, and coordinate reservations with the venue. If you separately opt in to email marketing, your name and email address may also be used to send Nomad Hub Greece news and event offers.
Legal basis
Event-related processing is necessary to provide the services requested with your registration (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The short support record after the event and the limited security and performance logging for our own campaign links are based on our legitimate interests in handling follow-up questions, preventing abuse and measuring our outreach (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Email marketing is based exclusively on your separate, optional consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Refusing it does not affect event registration.
Campaign attribution
When you use one of our /go campaign links, our server records the link, time and only the referring site's origin (for example https://example.com) before redirecting you; paths, queries, fragments and malformed referrers are not retained. If you accept optional analytics, campaign parameters and this first-touch source may also be stored locally and submitted with an event registration. Partners can see only aggregated counts assigned to them, never registration details or raw referrers. This first-party data is not used for cross-site tracking. You can withdraw optional analytics consent at any time by selecting 'Essential only'.
Data retention
Unconfirmed registrations are deleted after 14 days. Immediately after the event, phone number, date of birth, ID or passport details, notes, campaign attribution, acknowledgement timestamp and access tokens are deleted. The remaining event record (name, email and minimal registration timestamps) is deleted 60 days after the event. Raw campaign-link click records, including the reduced referrer origin, are deleted after 90 days. Pseudonymous aggregate daily counts without names, emails or referrers may be retained for historical reporting. Marketing subscriptions are stored separately: unconfirmed requests expire after 14 days; confirmed subscriptions and their consent evidence are retained for no longer than 24 months from confirmation, or until withdrawal and the subsequent cleanup, unless law requires a longer period.
Third-party sharing
Your data is used for email marketing only after separate checkbox selection and email confirmation. It is not sold. We use contracted hosting, database and email providers and may share event data with venues where necessary. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we use an applicable GDPR transfer safeguard.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@nomadhubgreece.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Further information
Each marketing email must contain an unsubscribe link. Withdrawal is free and does not affect event participation. Processor contracts and international-transfer safeguards are reviewed by the operator.
